Melanie was truly a God sent. The last thing she said to me was. “This cancer journey was a blessing in disguise because, when visitors came to see her she was able to share God’s work with them” she will truly be missed!

I was blessed to have met Melanie in 2024 at Mountain Island Church of Christ. We had an instant connection and from that day forward, Melanie became not only my sister in Christ, but a very dear friend. We studied the Bible together and found that we learned from each other and encouraged one another. Melanie was a true inspiration to me. I admired her tenacity and zeal for God. I didn’t want Melanie to leave us, but I know that she had to and is singing songs of rapture and praise to God. She is no longer in pain, but is surrounded by love that we could never comprehend in this body. I miss you, Melanie. You truly were one of a kind.
