Brenda, Susan, Althea, Ronnie and Lonnie, the children and grandchildren: I hope you know that I love you. I’m sorry I was not there I didn’t even know Melvin was sick. I have been praying for you and will continue to do so. If there is anything I can do please let me know. I hope the small donation helps, I wish it could have been more. Jeffrey is going to come to the church instead of me because I’m in Morehead City, 300 miles away. Please know that you are in my thoughts and I love you all very much.
Janie Goodman Hamsey(Dianne's daughter) says
To all the family: Please know that I love you all and am thinking of you. My prayers remain with you during this difficult time. I will miss my “Sweetpea” as I always called him. I wish I had known he was sick, maybe I could have gotten his phone number and called him before he left us. I am so very sorry for the loss you are all going through. May God grant you peace in your grief. May the love of your family sustain you now and always. My husband and I send our deepest sympathy and condolences. We love you all.
