Michael Robin Long, 59, of Salisbury, NC passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2013 at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Salisbury. Mr. Long was born September 29, 1954 in Georgetown, SC to Mrs. Ruth Goude Long and the late Leeroy Elmer Long.

Michael was a 1972 graduate of Winyah High School in Georgetown, SC and retired from the City of Salisbury where he worked in the utilities department. Mr. Long was a member of Rowan Christian Assembly, Ducks Unlimited, and the National Wild Turkey Association. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and being outdoors.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Long is survived by his son, Jordan Tyler Long of Salisbury, a daughter, Tasha Long Crisco and husband David of Salisbury, two brothers; Roy E. Long of Florida and Randy Elmer Long of Georgetown, SC, two sisters, Pam Crib of Georgetown, SC, and Judy Crib of Lumberton, NC, and grandchildren, Brianna, Zander, and Brison.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 1:00 PM.

The family will receive friends at the home of Evelyn Richardson following the service.
