Mittie Ethel Jordan, 82, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on November 25, 2014. Ms. Jordan was born on January 19, 1932 in Bennettsville, SC to the late George McCrumley and Thelma Tucker.

Ethel was a Christian woman and enjoyed cooking and traveling. She loved going on cruises, helping others and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, James Willie Jordan Sr., and three children, Elizabeth Jordan, James Jordan, and Gelvin Jordan.

She is survived by two daughters, Velda Spencer of Charlotte, and Rina Jordan of Charlotte; three sons, Jumal Jordan and wife Vanita of Ohio, Willie Jordan Jr. of Washington D.C., and Avery Jones of Brooklyn, NY.

A private Celebration of Life for family only was held on Saturday, December 6^th, 2014 at Assurance Community Bible Ministry (4000 E. W.T. Harris Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28215) conducted by Pastor Maurice F. Redmond.
