Dear Harris family,
I am sorry for your pain, and loss.
You can find real comfort in what God has promised, such as in John 5:28,29 -He promises that he is going to resurrect all those who have ever died, back to life again here on earth. And all the things that cause us sorrow, pain, and even death, will be gone forever. You can read about this in Revelation 21:3,4, and 1 Corinthians 15:26. I hope that in due time you receive God’s peace that excels all thought, so that it will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. As you know, God is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. Rest assured that he cares for all his creatures and he would never bring us suffering. A soothing scripture is Psalm 34:18 which reads: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” Sincerely.
