Dear Maria and family~
I am so very sorry for your loss.
Ray shared the news with us this morning at our Sunday meeting. I feel very grateful that I was able to get to know our dear Professor Bob. His passing has touched me deeply~I always thought we would see him again. He will not be forgotten.
Maria~I hope you are once again strong and in good health. You have had so very much this past year and are truly a very special lady.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all~and may God’s many blessings bring you peace~

Bob was my professor at UNM. We shared an apt in Quito when we were there. He was one of the most generous and best teachers I ever had. He visited a couple of times on trips to D.C. Maria, I remember your name although we never met. Please accept my condolences. I only wish I had had more contact com o meu professor.
