Mrs. Edna McDaniel Brackett, 79, of Matthews, NC went peacefully on April 24, 2013 to be with her Lord. Mrs. Brackett was born on January 8, 1934 to the late Lawson McDaniel and Nellie Pitchford McDaniel.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brackett is preceded in death by her husband Joe Dean Brackett.

She is survived by her son, Larry Brackett and wife Tammy, a daughter, Christine Sistare and husband Stephen, grandchildren, Scott Brackett, Jonathan Sistare, and Rhianna Sistare, sisters, Raye Hiney and Sarah Simmions, a brother, Joe McDaniel, and several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many friends.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Satuday May 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Drury Dobbins Baptist Church (3607 Dobbins Church Rd., Ellenboro, NC)

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the charity of the givers choice.
