Ms. Alisa Renee Ritchie, 45, of Concord passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at her residence. Renee was born on May 25, 1966 in Cabarrus County, daughter of Kenneth Ray Ritchie of Irmo, SC and the late Celia Harris Ritchie of Concord, NC.
Ms. Ritchie was a 1984 graduate of Central Cabarrus High School and received an Associate Degree in Computer Programing from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She was employed with the City of Concord Police Department.
Renee loved the beach and digging for seashells while everyone was fishing. Renee enjoyed watching youth sports and going to games with her significant other, Billy Swaringen who umpires for the games.
Survivors in addition to her Father, include her son, Patrick Brennan Ritchie of the home, her significant other, Billy Swaringen of the home, two sisters, Bethany Ritchie Marion, her husband David and three children, of Columbia, SC and Rebekah Ritchie of Columbia, SC.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Renee‘s life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Rocky Ridge United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Wiley Garrett of Waynesville, NC.
Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.

I just recently came across this. I am so sad to know this and finding it hard to wrap my head around. I dont even want to imagine what she went through and i had been there to let her know that one extra person loved her. Lord knows i need. She was the most exsiqulde person i knew. She make the worst day turn out great. Her smile would light a room so bright. Nea nea save me place beside you and it wont be long and i will see you again. Love Ya. God bless all your family.
