Nancy Lou Everhart Hedrick, 64, of Lexington passed away on Thursday November 10, 2016 at the Brookstone Retirement Center in Lexington. Nancy was born on May 1, 1952 in Davidson County, to the late Melvin Max Everhart and Mary Alice Miller Everhart.

Nancy was of the Baptist faith and worked in the cotton mill and as a Dispatcher for a Taxi Cab company as well. Ms. Hedrick was a homebody who enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, and spending time with her family. Her favorite color was yellow and she loved yellow roses.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Dale Everhart.

Nancy is survived by two children, Shane Everhart and wife Ricki Lynn of Lexington, and Tessie Everhart of Lexington; four grandchildren, William Harley Shane Everhart of Charlotte, Tesla Burkhart of Welcome, Sha Lee Max Everhart of Lexington, and Chan Pless Everhart of Lexington; and one great grandchild, Lillyann Opal Baker.

A Celebration of Life will held at a later date.
