To the Summers Family. I am so sorry to learn of your loss. I did not know until today that Nancy had passed. I decided that I had been missing her presence so I asked a clerk where she was.She was always so helpful to me at Food Lion when I shopped there. I consider her a good friend.
My heart is heavy. I share your loss.

Through my own tears let me say I am grieving with you all, Nancy and I were friends for over 44 years and I will always cherish her memory. For Nancy, Catherine and I played Bingo at least once a week, I will always think of how we supported each other in any way we could. When she moved to High Rock, we sort of lost touch, but we both knew the other was there if we needed anything. I am glad she had those years, traveling with Von and fishing, I know how she adored him and enjoyed her life with him. Nancy I will see you again!!!

Nancy was a great person to be around. I am so glad that I got to know her. Nancy you will be missed so much. I wish that I would have gotten to say thank you for all that you did for my son while he was at Food Lion in Spencer. God has a new angel in heaven. Nancy you were a great lady to know. We will miss you but know that we will see you again one day. Are thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

You all – family and friends who knew her well – have my sincere condolences on the loss of your Nancy. I didn’t know Nancy personally, but she was always a welcome face when I went into that Food Lion. Always helpful and quick to act, never made a customer feel like they weren’t important or their question or concern didn’t matter. They were all important to Nancy. I know my friend Charlie who worked with her at the front in Food Lion thought the world of her. May you all be comforted by the assurance that you will see her again someday.

Nancy Summers is my Aunt and she is going to be missed dearly. I lost my mother 5 yrs ago and know how hard it is going to be for her family. Prayers go out to everyone. Take it one day at a time. Eventually the pain of losing her will turn to joyful memories of time you all shared with her. Love to all! Bushee Family
