He will call, and she will answer,
She will live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of His own hand.
He now shall awaken those sleeping in death
Their voices will join us with every grateful breath
Jehovah our God, how well you have done!

“With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Susan and your Family during this time. Having lost my Daddy just a few years back, I know how hard it is to lose a parent. A scripture that helped me was knowing Eccl. 9:5 “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” By reminding myself of this scripture, I remembered that Daddy was no longer in any pain from his medical problems. He was simply sleeping (in Death). I can not wait to meet your mother. Agape. <3

I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Sister Howard, but i have come to know her beautiful daughter Susan…therefore, I feel certain I’ve been given a little insight into what a wonderful person (not to mention faithful servant) she must have been. The loss of a loved one is such an unnatural thing for our hearts to grasp, even with the knowledge of the things promised us by Jehovah…but, with that said, the scriptures that have been quoted by other friends are certainly the most comforting of words…a soothing balm for broken hearts. I so look forward to one day meeting such a faithful woman as Sister Howard, among others. Susan, please know that you and your family are all in our hearts and prayers and we are available if you need a hearing ear or a shoulder to cry on. Love you Susan <3

Susan we are sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. This is a beautiful picture of her. She has a smile even in her eyes. Even though we have a wonderful hope, it still doesn’t take away the pain. She sleeps till she will be able to have the real life.
