Dear Regina: I hope in due time God gives you his peace so that you carry on in good spirits. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-5) Our Heavenly Father cares for us and hates to see the suffering that is taking place worldwide. He promised that soon, ‘he will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things will pass away.’ (1 Peter 5:7; Revelation 21:3, 4) But until then, as you and your family are plagued with disquieting thoughts, trust that God, “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18)

Dear Sharp Family
I am deeply sorry for the loss of Paul. Death is an enemy that we as humans can not defeat. Yet our heavenly father has promised us that through his son Christ, he will eliminate death for ever (1Corinthians15:22,26). Just knowing that there is a hope for our loved ones’ future gives us the strength to carry on (Acts 24:15). My thoughts and sympathy are with you and your family at this most difficult time (Jude 2)
