Peter Gregory Gooden, loving husband, father, grandfather brother, uncle, friend, died on September 16, 2021 in Charlotte, N.C. He was born on the island of Jamaica on September 2, 1956, to Klave T. Gooden and Hope T. Gooden (both deceased).

Through an athletic scholarship, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Playing golf, enjoying good Jamaican and Japanese cuisines, and having an excellent appreciation for good wine and rum were his latest passions. He was fun-loving with a sharp sense of humor, and he enjoyed people, gatherings and laughter. Peter was extremely committed to family.
He is survived by his wife, Eddy; son, Jean-Paul; grandchildren, Naomi (8) and Lawson (3); brothers, Michael, Mark, Lvnford; a sister, Ruth; as well as nieces, nephews and three grand-nieces.
