Phillip Lynn Beaver, 67, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, 23 March at Carolina Caring Hospice House in Newton, NC.
Phillip was born on April 8th, 1953 Salisbury, NC to Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence P. and Sue
Smith Beaver. Phillip served in The United States Army, spending time in Berlin. He enjoyed repairing
boats and working in the Oak Island boatyard with his employer and good friend, Charlie Perry. Phillip
spent every spare minute reading and collecting books.
In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jimmy Lee Bunton.
Left to cherish his memory are his brothers; Paige Beaver (Jon) of West Hollywood, CA, Mark Beaver of Salisbury, Lee Bunton (Veronica) of Lexington, Kentucky, Neil Bunton (Teresa) of Havelock, NC; stepmother, Ilene Beaver of Iowa, Stepfather, William Willard of Little River, SC. He will be missed dearly by his nephew, nieces, aunts, cousins, and friends.
No service is being planned at this time.

My dad, Donald Beaver, would tell me from time- to- time that he had seen Phillip at Oak Island, NC, when my dad would go fishing there. Since I was several years older than Phillip I didn’t get to see him a much as I would have liked. Rest in peace, Phillip. Comfort to Paige and Mark. We will all miss him.
