Randall Lee “Pie” Goodman, 57, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, at his residence. Randy was born in Rowan County on April 24, 1958, son of Sarah Bean Goodman of Salisbury and the late Clifford Lee Goodman.

Randy attended East Rowan High School and was a 1976 graduate of Rowan Tech. He had worked at MANN, Chemtron in Granite Quarry and Tublar Textiles in Lexington.

Since 1975 he had enjoyed car and boat drag racing, riding motorcycles, building motorcycles, rock music and NASCAR. He loved his family and spending time with them.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by wife Sherri Goodman, who he married on May 20, 1994; step daughter, Raven Blevins of Salisbury; and his dogs Ruger, Stroker, Holley, Sadie, Callie and Maggie Mae.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
