Richard Edward Carr, 75, died peacefully on the 8th of November 2016, at his daughter’s home in Lexington, North Carolina, while under Hospice care.
Mr. Carr was born on February 17, 1941 in Leominster, Massachusetts to the late Cecile and Leslie Carr. Richard was married to Charlotte Ann Carr who passed away on February 19, 2012.
He is survived by his only sister, Lois Ward; and three children, Lori Burris, Todd Carr and Scott Carr. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his family.
A small service with full military honors will take place at the VA National Cemetery in Bay Pines, Florida in honor of his time served in the US Navy.
