Roe Saladino, 77, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC. She was born Rolande Marguerite LaCombe on August 12, 1937, in Lewiston, ME.
Roe was a devout Christian and member of The Cove Church in Mooresville, where she spent countless hours volunteering and helping with the church and its members. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, watching butterflies, and spending time with family and her dog, Angel. She was an avid sports fan, always cheering for her favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and her favorite NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
Roe was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Saladino. She is survived by her sister Terry Pelletier of Daytona Beach, FL; sister Connie Bilodeau and husband Normand of Auburn, ME; daughter Cindy Houser and husband Mike of Sheridan, IN; son Brian Thibault of Estero, FL; daughter Lisa Fox and husband Pat of Huntersville, NC; son John Saladino and wife Kim of Cape Coral, FL; and 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 6, at 11 a.m. at The Cove Church, 197 Langtree Rd, Mooresville, NC, 28117.
