Angela Crater-Marlowe says
Joey, was a good friend to our family and we are deeply saddened by his loss. He had such a big heart. He built a handicapped ramp for my dad so I could bring him home from the hospital. He didn’t want to take any pay for his time or materials. He was a good friend to everyone and he will be terribly missed. We take comfort knowing that he is with our Savior Jesus Christ; free from pain. Sending our prayers and sympathy. The Crater-Marlowe family (Statesville, NC)

With so much love. I didn’t meet Joey until Alicia and I were in HS, but I could tell what a special person he was. My heart grieves with you, honey.
