Rosalee Self, 74, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born on January 21, 1952 in to the late Roddy Hough and Mary Clutz Hough.
Rosalee was the owner and operator of RS Cleaning Services. She was a member of Pleasant Plains Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Rosalee was preceded in death by her brother, E.J. Hough.
Rosalee is survived by her husband of 26 years, William Self, and her daughter, Tiffany Michele Butler; granddaughters, Brittany Lea Butler, Ashley Rose Butler, and Jessica Anne Butler.
A private Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends at Statesville Road Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Metrolina Association for the Blind (MAB) at https://www.mabnc.org/donate, and those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to do so through this contribution in her memory.

My deepest condolences to you all. Rosalee always greeted me with a smile and big hugs. She was a special and sweet lady. I will never forget our pool party at her house after a night out on the town for my birthday back in the 90’s. That was one of our greatest and most hilarious laughs ever. The ladies who were there all know. HAHAHAHA!
