Sandra Burding Misenheimer, 58, of Gold Hill, died on Thursday November 19, 2015 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. Mrs. Misenheimer was born on April 5, 1957 in Riverhead, NY to Marie Frances O Hagan Burding of Westhampton Beach, NY and the late Wally Burding.
She was a graduate of Eastport High School in NY and received her Associates Degree from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She attended the First Baptist Church of Salisbury and was self-employed with her husband as a Flag Car driver. She enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, cooking, and being a grandma.
In addition to her mother, Fran Burding of Gold Hill,she is survived by her husband of 23 years, Larry Misenheimer who she married on November 22, 1992; two sons, David Kruk Jr. and wife Karen of Statesville, NC, and Jason Kruk of Salisbury; three brothers, Bruce Burding and wife Suzanne of SC, Daniel Burding and Susan of SC, and Eric Burding and wife Wendy of NY; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. William Petty and the members of the Cancer Center at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday November 22, 2015 at Powles Staton Funeral Home in Rockwell at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Ave. Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207, or to Hospice and Palliative care of Rowan County, 720 Grove St., Salisbury, NC 28144.

Larry, so sorry to hear about Sandy passing. We don’t take the paper & we haven’t had a run in 4 wks so we just found out today. Wish we could have been at her memorial service. Your family is definitely in our prayers.
