Sandra Elizabeth Locklear, 62, of Salisbury, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

She was born January 15, 1961 in Lumberton, NC to the late David Locklear and Mary Manda Ivey. Sandra loved her husband and family, but lit up when she saw her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed watching wrestling every night.In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Dalerandle Locklear; and sister, Lilian Locklear.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gwen Locklear; daughters, Truella Locklear of Salisbury; Amanda Locklear (Dwight) of Lumberton; step-daughter, Lisa Locklear (Adam) of Lumberton; sisters, Courtia Lowry, Etiska Bell, Josephene Thomas, Rose Locklear, all of Lumberton; brother, Willie Locklear of Lumberton; a host of nieces and nephews; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and her nurses aid of 12 years, Tony Bolte.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
