Sandra Williams Earnhardt, 70, of Salisbury, peacefully passed away on March 27, 2017 at Kiser Hospice House.
Sandra was born to the late Robert L. Williams Jr. and Virginia Cline Williams on December 12, 1946. She attended Granite Quarry Elementary, East Rowan High School, then Central State Cosmetology school. She worked as a hairdresser and later retired from Morgan Carpet.
Sandra was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and in her spare time enjoyed volunteering for Relay for Life, making stain glass, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Williams III; sisters, Norma Williams Hoyle and Judy W. Helms.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry Nelson Earnhardt; sons, Christopher Todd Earnhardt and David Nelson Earnhardt, both of Salisbury; grandchildren, Morgan Taylor Earnhardt, Robert Chase Earnhardt and Tucker James Merritt; sisters in law, Edna Hill (Coy) of Salisbury; Linda Walker (Charles) of Salisbury; Penny Shue (Dana) of Faith; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dog and best friend, Sassy.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Karen Whicker, Morgan Earnhardt, Linda Walker, and Lisa Merritt for their continued love and support.
The family will accept friends on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 12:30-2 PM in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 234 N. Main GQ St., Granite Quarry, NC 28072, with a memorial service following starting at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House, 1229 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury, NC 28144, or to Shiloh United Methodist Church, 234 N. Main GQ St., Granite Quarry, NC 28072.
