Shaun Klein, 54, of Charlotte, passed away of natural causes at his home on January 1st, 2019.
Shaun was an avid motorcyclist and business entrepreneur who courageously battled the effects of a devasting stroke that he suffered in 2015. He was an energetic member of his many communities and was a son, brother, husband, friend and trusted professional to the folks who knew him. A graduate of Independence High School in Charlotte, Shaun became an expert technician in the field of home security and multimedia entertainment, eventually starting his own business. His most recent endeavor was as a senior technician for Eaton Company as an specialist in fire suppression systems.
Shaun’s biggest passion was his love for motorcycling and the adventures he discovered while riding with his friends. Among his many bikes, his favorite was a yellow 1968 Harley Davidson Electra Glide that he named Lucille in honor of the guitarist BB King. In addition, he is remembered for his joy of cooking and engaging friends through food. He was a fiercely independent soul and trusted friend.
Shaun is survived by his mother Mary Ann, father John and three siblings, Erin, Anne and Jake.
