Sheila Lynn Basinger, 58, of Salisbury, passed away November 4, 2012. Sheila was born July 18, 1954 in Rowan county and attended the Rowan county schools. The daughter of Mrs. Edna Frances Shue and the late Clarence Alexander Basinger.
Ms. Basinger enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Jackson Ruff.
Sheila is survived by a daughter; Daphne Piercy of Beaufort, NC, brother; Roy Lee Basinger of Rockwell, NC, sister; Cynthia Allen of Morehead City, and one special aunt, Nellie Brown of Gold Hill with whom she lived, 2 grandchildren, 1 nephew, and many cousins.
The family will have a private service at a later date.

I am sorry for your passing;Although it will not be everlasting. As I shed a tear thinking of you not able to say farewell or bid you ado. I will mourn you on the day in which the Good Lord took you away. But Sister always you will be remembered when I think of the month of November.
