Susan was always a light of energy and her humor helped everyone’s spirits. She was an inspiration as is the whole Merritt family. The love and warmth they share is demonstrated each and every day. Your faith in God will shine through to keep you strong. Sue is with our Lord and Savior waiting for all of us to get to heaven. I am sure the doors to her Mansion will be open to welcome us.

Susan you are the sister I never had. You taught me so so much about what it means to serve and love unconditionally. I’ve seen you love and care for so many people, both young and old. We spent so many hours laughing and cutting up, that’s what’s kept me going these past few days. There will never ever be another like you. I will see you again.

Susan was a joy to be around. She loved the youth and loved cooking for them. I can remember asking her if she wanted to help with the youth at CB and it was an instant beam of joy. Can’t wait to get to heaven and hear her say “Come On!” with that great smile of sincerity. I enjoyed every minute I was around her and Steve!
Linda McGroary says
