She was born April 24, 1944 in Bellaire, Ohio. Susan moved to North Carolina in 1993, where she was a server and concierge at the Salisbury Country Club. She later became manager at the Whispering Oaks Home for the elderly. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping and fishing, where she always caught the bigger fish.
In addition to her parents, Bettie Evans and Robert Burns, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Flanery.
Susan is survived by her husband of 36 years, Larry Willis, whom she met on vacation from Oregon; daughter, Wendy Warren (Adrian) of Statesville; son, Christopher Boles (Stacie) of Wheeling, WV; grandchildren, Amanda McCreary (Travis) of Statesville; Leighna Kuehn-Powell (Jesse) of Statesville; Cody Boles of Glen Easton, WV; Stevie Boles (Kyle Reilly) of Wheeling, WV; sister, Elizabeth Blake (Jim) of Moundsville, WV; brother, Walter Muklewicz (Lucy) of St. Clairsville, OH; great-grandchildren, Kenzlee McCreary, Amillya Kuehn, Mack McCreary, Watson Powell; nieces and nephews, Angie, Marisa and Scotty.
There is no service scheduled at this time.
