Our deepest sympathies to the entire Wood family. Not having an older sibling myself, I looked up to Teddy in awe as something of a model of what I thought a big brother would be like when David and I used to play around your house. He was always kind to me and I still think of him as the older brother that I never had. I’m sure I’m not the only one who felt this way about Teddy. God bless.

Dear Lydia,
I know that words are inadequate at a time like this but I wanted you to know how very sorry I am for your loss. The loss of a spouse is a tragic event and I can only imagine the pain and suffering you are experiencing. I hope you can find comfort in the wonderful legacy your husband left behind in the family that now surrounds you. As sad as it will be, you will always have the memory of him to hold in your heart.
The Bible reminds us that “Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted.” I pray that this will be especially true for you as you mourn your loss. I pray that God will give you the strength to see you through this sad and difficult time. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

My deepest sympathy during this time of your loss. I wanted to give the family encouragement, to rely on Almighty God. He comforts us in our tribulation and he helps us at times when we are weak (Psalm 59:10). The Bible speaks of a time when our love ones, who are sleeping in death will be brought back to life and live on a paradise earth forever (Acts 24:15, Psalm27:29). Is this not a wonderful promise of God’s that we can look forward to?
May you find comfort in what Almighty God will accomplish in the near future and may he comfort all of you during this time of bereavement.
