Thomas Clark Llewellyn, 65, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his home.
He was born September 8, 1955 in Salisbury, NC to the late Thomas Llewellyn and Helen Bostian Llewellyn. He graduated from Salisbury High School and was the owner of Starship Engineering for 43 years. He was a master Engineer in the top performance motorcycle industry as well as the Indy Car Racing League. He was known as being a hardworker, never missing a day of work until his health started to decline due to Parkinsons and Alzheimers. He loved to go deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. What brought him his greatest joy was being a Paw Paw to his two grandchildren and loving his fur baby, Lilly Belle.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Llewellyn and Alma Llewellyn Prentiss; Crawford and Ruth Bostian; sister, Terri Llewellyn and brother, Michael Lee Llewellyn.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 44 years, Danna Ward Llewellyn; daughters, Tabitha Myers (Michael) of Salisbury; Tiffany Barringer (Michael) of Mocksville; son, Thomas Dax Llewellyn of Salisbury; granddaughters, Emma Kate Myers and Addisyn Reagan Myers; sisters, Elizabeth “Betsy” Mitchell (David) of Panama City, FL; and life long friend, Amy Hess of Salisbury.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire hospice staff, but especially to his nurses, Karen, Kelly, Sonia, Susan, and Erica for all their dedication, love, and support.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be a private memorial service.

Danna, it broke my heart to read Tommy had passed. I didnt know he was sick or at home. I have always counted Tommy as a great friend. If I can do anything for you and family please dont hesitate to call on me.

Sista I morn for Tommy but I grieve for you and kids.For 44 years i have had the privalage of calling Tommy -LEW-but he was more like a big brother.Lots of cheerished times.Thru the years.From rabbit shooting out a step fan door to whos fish is bigger.He will be missed but the impression he put on us all will carry on for generations.We are here for any of yall if you need us.Love ya

I am extremely sorry for the loss of Mr. Tom. He was a great guy! Heck of a mechanic too! Never had a bad conversation with him, and he will be very missed. To his family, please accept my deepest sympathies.
