Timothy Max Hinkle, 59, of Lexington, NC passed away on February 24, 2014 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, NC. Mr. Hinkle was born on September 12, 1954 in Davidson County to the late John Preston Hinkle and Evelyn Willis Hinkle.
Tim worked as a painter in the both the residential and commercial business and enjoyed fishing, crafts, and watching Matlock, Walker Texas Ranger, and Andy Griffith. Mr. Hinkle enjoyed spending time with friends and family and his dogs, Little Bit and Odie.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his significant other, Doris Huffman, and two brothers, Ronnie Hinkle and Forrest Hinkle.
Tim is survived by his three brothers, Chuck Hinkle of Lexington, Rick Hinkle of Welcome, and Dwayne Hinkle and wife Julie of Lexington; a sister, Lisa Gunter and husband Wesley of Welcome; a special aunt and uncle, Bob and Maxine Berrier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Sending my prayers and thoughts to the family at this time. Mr.Hinkle was my Boo lol at least that’s what I called him here at the Cancer Center in Lexington. He will be missed. May God comfort you during this time.

so sorry to hear of tims passing he was my neighbor and friend for a lot of years , he now has no more pain and got his wings rip tim wont be the same w/o you the moores

I cannot begin to understand the loss of a brother. My heart goes out to all of you . My prayers are for the family to find comfort in knowing his pain here on earth is over. May we all search our hearts and make things right with our Heavenly Father so that we might share in the wonderful home God has prepared for us. God Bless each and everyone of you .

I am Tim’s daughter we did not get very much time together but what time we did get I will always hold dear to my heart love u dad my condolences to the rest of the family
