Timothy “Tim” Larry Greene, 58, of Gold Hill, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Mr. Greene was born in North Wilkesboro on February 22, 1958, so of the late Wiley Greene and Mildred Queen Robinson.

Tim was educated in Mecklenburg County Schools and was an auto mechanic in the Charlotte area before retiring. He enjoyed hobbies such as fishing and working on cars in his spare time.

He is survived by his previous wife, Heidi Greene of Albermarle; step-father, Gordon Robinson of Concord; son, Michael R. Greene and fiancée, Shannon Dennis of Albermarle; grandchildren, Tyler Greene, Trevor Greene, Bailey Barbee, and Aiden Barbee; brothers, David Greene of Florida and James Greene of Georgia; and sister, Dianne Smith of Florida.

There will be a private memorial service held by members of the immediate family at a later date.
