Timothy “Tim” Page Overcash, 56, of Kannapolis, went to Heaven on Thursday, June 18th, 2020 after 2 years of fending off cancer. He was born in Concord on March 27, 1964. Tim lived his whole life in Concord & Kannapolis and developed many, many friendships along the way. Tim was a one of a kind, with a gentle soul and love for everyone he met.
He was the son of the late Thomas L. Overcash Sr. and the late Joyce Hartis Heidrich. He had several employers over the years, the last one being S&D Coffee.
Survivors include his brother Tommy Overcash, his wife Lisa and Tim’s four nieces, Casey, Corey, Candice, and Camille, all of Bahama, NC. Also his aunt, Irene Childers of Kannapolis, uncle Norman Hartis and his wife Graye, uncle Billie Overcash and his wife Peggy.
A memorial service is being planned to be held at Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church in Kannapolis. The date is still to be announced.

Tim was such a sweet friend…he had a big heart and always had a smile on his face. The last time he and I talked, he said…”well Penny, at our next class reunion, my name will be on the board, and I’m ok with that”. We agreed that it’s not “good-bye”…it’s “I’ll see you later”. My husband got to meet Tim at 2 of our class reunions. They hit it off. We are both going to miss him so much! He has been a wonderful friend for over 40 years.
