Troy Mitchell Creekmore, 49, of Lexington, previously of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at his residence. Troy was born on November 2, 1966 in Roanoke Rapids, NC, son of the late N. Wayne Creekmore and is survived by his Mother, Rebecca Mills Creekmore.
Troy was a graduate of Cape Fear High School, Fayetteville, NC. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, where he served as GSM3 (Gas Turbine Mechanic). He was a recent graduate of the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Manassas, VA. Troy enjoyed golfing, listening to music; and he especially enjoyed going to the symphony.
Troy is survived by his son, Grayson Mitchell Creekmore, of Conover, NC. Siblings, Todd Mills Creekmore (Beth), Terry Matthew Creekmore (Diane), Tara Creekmore Witham (Donald). Nieces and Nephews: Meagen and Zachary Witham, Parker, Cameron, and Peyton Creekmore.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Lexington, conducted by Pastor Lee Zehmer.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Lexington 300 South Main Street, Lexington NC 27292, (Music) or Christ Church – Fairgrove 1800 Fairgrove Church Rd Conover, NC 28613 (Music).

I never knew him but my late Mother was in the power squadron with his parents. Ruby Terrell, I am sure he was as great a person as Wayne and Becky.
