Vicki Brooks Taylor, 62, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC.
She was born November 17, 1958 in Salisbury, NC to the late Homer E. Brooks and Mary L. Landreth. At the time of her passing, Vicki worked at Walmart in Salisbury as an AP Host.
Vicki was a very sweet woman who treated everyone like they were one of her own children. She always embraced having a very simple life. In her spare time she enjoyed sitting outside taking in everything nature had to offer, and loved being surrounded by her family.
In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her sister Sheila Powell; and brother-in-law Danny Boggs.
Vicki is survived by daughters, Nina Noto of Kannapolis; Stacy Neely (Chason) of Salisbury; and Stephanie Taylor of Cleveland. Three grandsons, Kennett; Devon; and Dylan. Two granddaughters, Shanelle; and Evelyn, and three great-grandchildren. Two siblings, sister Wanda Boggs of Salisbury; and brother Homer Brooks of Cleveland.
Plans for the celebration of life will be held at the Neely residence in Salisbury, NC February 21, 2021. Visitors will be welcome from 2pm-6pm. For location details Stacy – 704-640-6225 or Nina – 704-232-6045 may be contacted.
