Vicky Lynn Pollack Walker, 71, of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, NC. Vicky was born on January 28, 1945 in Tulsa OK to the late Carl and Dorothy Pollack. She was raised in Marlette MI until her family move to south GA When she was 12 yrs old.
She was a graduate of Fitzgerald High School where she met and later married Mike Walker who proceeded her in death in 2004. Vicky worked for Albany Printing Company for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, sewing, woodworking, and made beautiful quilts and birdhouses for her family. Most all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Wendy Hester and companion Dennis Courtney of Dawson, GA, and her two children Justin Smith of Tifton, GA, and Jennifer H Hatcher (Stephen) of Leesburg, GA, Lori Hughes (Jesse Hughes) of Lexington, NC and their daughters Madison And Allison, Dana Leverett (Tatum Leverett) of Leesburg, Ga and their daughters Kelsi and Sofia; she is also survived by her tiny chihuahua Miss Sassy.
A special thank you to Cathy Rosenbrook who was a life long friend/cousin and in the end, a loving and kind care giver during Vicky’s illness.
There will be a private Celebration of Life held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County (200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292).

We were just talking about our Mothers, Family, Children and our Jobs not knowing the precious moments we talked of would become our memories.
