Vincent Michael Walker, also known as Rocky or Wolf, 66, of Lexington passed away on September 21, 2021 of a vehicle-pedestrian accident.
He was born to the late Betty Jean Hatfield and Joseph Edward Walker in Reidsville NC on April 08, 1955. He had two siblings, Danny and Tommy Walker.
He enlisted in the Army at the age of 18, was a medic, and received an honorable discharge.
He had a wife, Kim Walker, one son, Michael Scott Walker, and two daughters, Jennifer Pearl Walker and Marleea Walker.
He was known in town as the singing cowboy. He rode his bike everywhere he went. He loved to sing Elvis Presley songs. He had came to know the Lord later in his life. He had asked forgiveness for his sins. He never met a stranger, he greeted everyone he met with a smile, a wave and a “Good to see you again”. He will surely be missed by all his friends. A special thank you to the friends that treated him like family.
Carolina Cremation of Salisbury will be handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made towards his final expenses or to the VA in his honor.
He will have a graveside service at Salisbury National Cemetery on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm.

So sorry to the family for your loss and our loss of a Special person. Wolf came by Biscuit King on Talbert Blvd. pretty often rain or shine did not slow him down. He upgraded from a two wheeler bike to a three wheeler bike several Months ago. Wolf you will surely be missed around Lexington. 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

He was one of my favorite people in the neighborhood, i lived right by him, i used to come by and chat with him all the time and tell him about how i was in JROTC and going to the military soon.
