Mrs. Virginia Jane Patrick, 89, of Gold Hill, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014, at her residence. She was born April 20, 1925 in McConnell, WV to the late Solan B. and Blanche Hinchman Shuff.

A graduate of Man High School in Man, WV, she was a homemaker. Virginia was a member of First Baptist Church of Gold Hill, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher. A former member of Trinity Freewell Baptist Church in Henlawson, WV, she was a member of the Ladies Aides. Virginia loved reading her Bible, singing hymns, and being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Robert G. Patrick; daughter, Sally Patrick; and brother, James Shuff.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lowe of Gold Hill; two sisters, Alice Fuoco and Lois Holderfield, both of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Leanna Teeter and James Lowe, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Spencer Lowe, Lucas Lowe, and J.T. Teeter.

The family will have a private graveside service in Henlawson, WV.
