Wade Aaron Naatz, 36, of Salisbury, a loving son, brother, and friend, passed away May 18, 2023, surrounded by loved ones, at UNC Chapel Hill hospital following a brief illness. He was born on October 24, 1986 in Winston Salem, NC. He was a 2008 graduate of Salisbury High School.
Wade was a stubborn and loving boy. He made friends with anyone he met. He had a goofy smile, and a quick wit, and he always got the last word. He enjoyed spending his time watching movies, playing video games, wrestling and eating taters.
Wade was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Rosanne Johnson of Oneonta, NY.
Those left to cherish his memories are his Mother, Marianne Herge, of Salisbury (formerly Oneonta NY), Father, Bob Herge, of Salisbury. Sisters, Casey Johnson (Joel) and Megan Herge (Taylor) Nephew, Obi and Nieces Mae, Ella, and Addi, who he loved tremendously, and Stepsisters, Jennifer Harnos (Gregory) and Jessica Herge. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Please join us for a celebration of life on June 4th at 1pm at the event center at 633 Dunns Mountain Rd, Granite Quarry NC, 28072.
