Wallace “Sonny” Wesley Ingram, 77, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at his home.
He was born December 7, 1943 in Rowan County, NC to the late George Ingram and Vera Meisheimer Ingram. Sonny owned and operated Auto Rebuilders and loved cars. Sonny led a full life, was hard working, and lived his life for his family and friends. He was always willing to help anyone, anytime, was always willing to lend and ear, and never met a stranger. He was one of a kind and like no other and will be missed greatly by all.
In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Martin and sister, Judy Martin.
Sonny is survived by his beloved wife, Frances Ingram, who was the love of his life and he was hers; daughter, Shannon Ingram Leibacher (Dirk); son, Sean Ingram (Morgan); grandchildren, Tori Armour, Caitlyn Culp, Alec Martin, Madison Christopher, Kyndall Christopher, Raygan Hagler, Dirk Leibacker Jr.; great-granddaughters, Paisley, Lillian, and Sadie; brothers and sisters, Ronnie Ingram (Phyllis); Norma Thomason (Wilber); Anita Sheperd (Larry); Ricky Ingram (Lisa); Tommy Ingram (Laura); Melinda Graham (Wayne); brother-in-law, Donnie Frye; and multiple niece and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at 2pm on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Southside Baptist Church, 500 Morlan Park Rd. Salisbury, NC 28146, with Pastor Robin Albright leading the service.
