Mr. William “Beehawk” Johnson Hargrave, of Salisbury, passed on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at his home among loved ones.
He was born March 19, 1928. He was the son of the late Theodore and Willie Mae Hargrave. He retired from the City of Salisbury and was a member of the the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 children, Houston Clodfelter and Annie Clodfelter; 4 brothers, John Lewis, Raymond, James Spencer and Richard Hargrave; 5 sisters, Josephine Carter, Thedosha, May Troy Hargrave, Nancy Hargrave and Anna Marie Strudivant.
He leaves behind his wife Ella Louise Hargrave; 5 daughters, Coya Michelle Hargrave, Carman Johnson (Brian), Belinda Morrow (Tony), Zena Clodfelter (Melvin), and Mary Boyd (Dwight); 4 sons, Henry Allen Clodfelter, David Lee Clodfelter, James Earl Clodfelter, and Patrick Clodfelter (Terry) all of Salisbury; 2 sisters, Carrie Hargrave and Jeanette Hargrave; 1 brother, George Hargrave (Ida); 2 sister in laws, Mary Sifford (James) and Genoriah Payne (Richard); brother in law, James Lee Burton; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be give to celebrate his life at a later date.

We are the grandsons of did very loving man and we like to give a loud shout out to the man that took the time 2 teach us about life good things and about our heavenly father JEHOVAH. Ours hearts has an empty space cause of losing u grand-dad, but hopefully we will all meet again and have a joyous occasion, but 4 now we will truly miss u and we your grandsons love u always!!!!!!!!!
