William Lee Hurley, 72, of Denton, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at his home in Denton, NC. He was born on August 3, 1944 in Troy, NC to the late Dewey Hurley and Irene Lanier Hurley. Mr. Hurley proudly served his country in the United States Army.
William worked as a Cable Contractor in the Communications industry and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed anything that had to do with remote control cars, airplanes, and trains. He also enjoyed working on and collecting old model cars.
William is survived by his wife Tina Hurley, three daughters, Beth Bunting of Denton, Marlena Bennett of GA, and Leesa Hurley of FL; two sons, Billy Lee Hurley of GA, and Greg Hurley of VA.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday April 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Central United Methodist Church of Denton (276 W. 1st Street, Denton, NC 27239) conducted by Pastor, Blount.
