Mr. William Robert Cruse, 84 of Charlotte passed away April 21, 2012 at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Mr. Cruse was born October 28, 1927 in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Wilder A. Cruse and Margaret Jarrell Cruse.

Mr. Cruse was a Veteran of the US Navy, in W.W. II, was a member of Hawthorne Lane United Methodist Church in Charlotte, and loved playing golf.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen Cruse of Culpepper, VA, and Larry Cruse of Charlottesville, VA. and one sister, Mrs. Jean Hill of Salisbury.

There will be a private Memorial Service at a later date.
